" High On A Rock" On Lake Superior
This year my wife,Marge, and dog ,Bubba, traveled on a Friday in June to Two Habors,MN the home of Split Rock Lighthouse on Lake Superiors rocky shore. This light house was built in 1905 due to many tragic maratime ship wrecks and was a way to stop this from happening.
We went to the shore, to record Split Rock Lighthose that afternoon and from this work I have created a new original oil painting called " High On A Rock" to celebrate our day trip together and Marge's recent medical recovery, quite a miracle.
