Inner Strength
I paint our Angels Here Now On Earth,Yes Our Wildlife
People through the ages have never been alone, starting at the very beginning, and as written in our good book ,the Bible, God created all the animals before man and woman. Man does not live by bread alone and has always depended on animals for his survival over the ages. Early cave dwellings were used to record the animals that were important, in ancient paintings, a way of letting future generations know how important animals are, so we never forget and keep vigilant in all we do. God had great insight into man and his daily needs though all the generations and here we are today in a very challenging time for all our animals as well as all our people. As my quote reads " As they go so go we" so all the changes in our environment are indeed telling all of us to take better care of our earth. As an artist, I paint in Artisan Oils all the birds of Crex Meadows Wildlife Area as the seasons come and go and when observing these birds over the past 20 years, there are definitely changes in behavior and warning signs. As a painter I have learned birds and their ways are really our " Inner Strength" as this sandhill crane painting is titled. I want future generations to view my painting and see all this majestic beauty in God's creations and to always want to protect this sacred gift. Remember " As They Go So Go We" have a great day and save a bird. Thx be.
